Hello everyone. Here is a quick update. I left Gainesville Georgia Sunday the 16th. I flew from Atlanta to Washington DC and had a 3hr layover. From DC I flew to Addis Ababa Ethiopia. From Addis I traveled to Johannesburg South Africa. I had a 6hr layover there, then flew to Port Elizabeth. Port Elizabeth is on the southern tip of Africa, along the Indian Ocean. I was picked up by a man named Rodger. Rodger works with the ministry my squad is partnering with. After an hour drive I made it to my final destination; Jeffreys Bay (48hrs later)

My first day being in Jeffreys Bay was hard work. The men’s team I was joining had been put to work on a house building project. Our job for that day was to make mix and pour the foundation of this new home. The ministry host really wanted us to finish all the foundation that day, because we would be leaving the area to help at a summer camp. My day consisted mainly of shoveling. I really wanted to help the team and the host so shoveled until I could shovel no more. And when I felt like I just couldn’t shovel any more I asked God to give me strength. Little by little God would help me shovel. We finish all the concrete work that day. The team was full of blisters and my body was ready for bed. But I can look back a few months from now when the house is fully built knowing the team and I built the foundation. It was one of those moments I was just so thankful to be a part of it.

Now this weekend we are at a summer camp. I’m excited to love on some campers and at the same time disciple the men and women of A squad. I’m gonna take some pictures and videos to give you guys a better look at camp here in Jeffreys Bay South Africa.

Thank you for the amazing support. I could really use some prayer, I don’t have that much time with these men. I want to be diligent with my time and have wisdom from above to point them to Jesus. Teaching them how to focus on Him first, then everything else will come.

Ps. When I get better internet access I will post a video about “Launch.” This is where all the racers come to Atlanta. They invite there parents and worship together and say there goodbyes.

  1. You are regularly in my prayers. Miss you. I know you are a blessing to any who are willing to “let you in”. Be bold, be faithful to what and who The Lord puts on your heart each day.
    Love you Bro
