Hello everyone, I am a behind on updates, so I will take it one trip at a time. First up is Guatemala. (Thank you or being patient with me.)

My squad Gap I, is doing incredible. The last time I got to see them was back in December, in Jaco, Costa Rica. I can confidently say that none of them are the same people I left back then. Each one has grown in their relationship with God. It is so easy to see because they walk, talk and act more like Him. I am so blessed that the squad is choosing to follow Christ. It honestly makes my job much more enjoyable. The Lord has been hearing your prayers for them! Thank you for lifting up these men and women to our King!

While I was in Guatemala, many people of the squad including myself hiked Acatenango. This is a dormant volcano just West of Antigua. We had guides up the mountain and they planned for us to hike around 6 hrs, then we set up camp and rest that night. Then the next morning we would get up and summit the volcano. When we got to our camp there was another volcano across from us. That volcano is called Fuego, which means “fire” in Spanish. This volcano is constantly erupting. During the day the eruptions fill the sky with ash and smoke but at night the volcano spews out lava and it glows on the mountain. With each eruption the earth would quake beneath our feet and a shockwave would pound into our chest. Each time the volcano erupted I was reminded of the voice of God. The Bible refers to His voice as a “loud thunder” – Rev. 14:2 “And I heard a voice from heaven, like the voice of many waters, and like the voice of loud thunder.”

Here is a video of that night. The first sounds you hear is the shockwave of the eruption. There are a few pictures from the day and that night too.

This one was taken around 11pm..

The hike was beautiful and humbling. I ended up getting altitude sickness and I chose not to summit the next morning. The Lord reminded me of why I came to Guatemala in the first place. It wasn’t to hike a volcano but to make disciples. I’m hoping sometime in the future I’ll be able to summit Acatenango. The next 2 weeks were full of promising conversations with the squad. The men are choosing to seek after righteousness and integrity. They want to be mighty men of God. I am so blessed and proud of each one of them. But one conversation stood out to me above the rest and it happened to be with a complete stranger.

One day we went out to a park and talked to a man who was living on the streets. He was sleeping in the park and we decided to wake him up and see how he was doing. We got to ask him about his life and how he ended up on the streets. It was sad to hear how his life had been slowly taken away by drugs and alcohol. He was so thankful that we sat down with him just to talk. He said that we must have been angels sent by God to comfort him. I was so touched by that comment. I asked him if he knew Jesus? He said he knew a little about Him but not enough to tell me. I shared the story of Jesus and the gift of eternal life to those who believe in Him. He told me the he wanted to believe and that he wanted to live with God in eternity! I love how you never know what’s gonna happen when you talk to people about Jesus. He told me he knew of a church down the road that has offered to help him before. I reminded him that Jesus always gives us another chance to come to him but He also tells us that we must repent and follow Him. This brother then got up, gave us hugs and walked away. I’m not sure what has happened to him but I know God is not giving up on him and we should never give up on those around us either.

I’m back in the states now continuing with Kingdom Interruption. I’ll share a video soon to catch you up on what God is doing here in our country. In the mean time please pray for me.

Here are few prayer requests.

I have another squad! This is “L Squad” Prayers for there hearts to trust the Lord will provide all they need to go on this mission.

Prayers for our van, it’s a bit shaky and we still have a long way to go, prayers that it can keep it together and continue to get us where God wants us.

Thank you for your support and invested time. I am so blessed to have people praying for me daily and reminding me of the faithfulness of God. May our heavenly Father reveal more of who He is in our lives and may we live a life holy and acceptable for our King.
