Hi everyone, as some of you know I’ve been back in the states for almost 3 months. The beginning of my year was amazing I got to spread the love of Christ to 5 beautiful countries and so many people who are dear to my heart. While I was traveling many would ask me what was next. I never had a definite answer besides “when I get home I’m going to sit and listen to what God has for me next.” So when I got home that’s what I did. After spending a few days in prayer I’m confident the God wants me lead another group. My next journey will be leading a Gap year squad. A Gap year program is different from my first trip that was 11 countries in 11 months. The Gap year program is 4 countries in 9 months and its only for 18-20 year olds. This is my group ..S squad
..
.

They are really amazing and I can’t wait to walk along side them and love them and everything around us. This trip will be 9 months to 4 different countries. We will leave the states around the 15 of September and head to Cambodia for our first 3 months. From there we go to Ethiopia for another 3 months, then to Nicaragua for 1 month (although as of right now Nicaragua is not a safe place to go, so we may not go here) and our last country will be Costa Rica where we will spend our final 2 months before heading home. I’m so excited to be able to lead and disciple this generation.

I want to thank you all for supporting me and following me on this crazy life of mine. Someone asked me what my dream job would be and I didn’t have to think very hard on it. My dream job would be this right here. Getting to disciple other’s while sharing the Good News of Jesus is the best job ever! So thank you for coming along side me during these last 579 days. I know you have subscribed to my blogs but I would love to know more about what’s going on in your life too. This is a community and I want to be able to pray and intercede for you, email me anything you would like to share @ [email protected]
Thank you again for all your prayers, donations, and thoughts, God bless your day and your loved ones.

  1. Luis, my brother and friend. It’s awesome to hear and witness just your humility and obedience following the Lord! He’s doing something incredible in you and through you, and S-Squad is fortunate to have your wisdom, patience, and kindness. Maybe your smile will rub off on them too…
Can’t wait to follow along the adventures of S-Squad.
