This story takes place after I walked away from Dameon.

I was on my way to gate D7. I had about 2 hours before departure. I stopped at a bathroom and brushed my teeth. As I was getting ready to leave, a man across the sink asked me for 5 dollars. He said he was hungry. He said that he wasn’t trying to get high or get drunk. He just said life was hard right now and he could really use some food. I asked him his name, he said “it’s Jeffrey.” I told Jeffrey “I don’t have much but what I have I will give to you.” Then I heard the Lord tell me “give him all you have.” I thought about it for a moment saying to myself “hmm if I give Jeffrey everything I will not have anything for this long travel day.” But then I remembered it’s not about me, it’s about loving God and loving others. I reached into my bag and pulled all the money I had. It was $105. There were five twenties and five one dollar bills. At first glance it looked like it was only a couple dollars. I walked up to him and gave him the little stack of money. Then I asked him if I could pray for him. He said yes please. He told me “I know God will get me through.” I agreed with him and prayed. He thanked me and said “wow I can feel God, that was the real deal.” I said “yeah brother you are loved and not forgotten.” We said goodbye and parted ways. Jeffrey didn’t look at how much money I gave him. He just put it in his pocket and thought it was only a couple dollars. My prayer is that Jeffrey will be able to get back on his feet. That he will find peace in Jesus who loves Him beyond all measure. I hope God multiplied that money.

This was my experience at the airport in Atlanta. And I loved it! I hope that every time I’m in an airport God will bless me with people to love. A big thank you to all of you who support me. Because of your donations, Alonso, Dameon and Jeffrey all got blessed. As we partner with God I know there is so much we can do. Thank you. I know God wants to bless many more people through you and through myself. Let’s keep loving together.

  4. YYEESSS! Come on! I love these stories. I feel like the airport is one of the best places to love people because there are so many people in one place, all from different places and walks of life and we ALL need to love of God. Thanks for being a willing servant and child of God and saying yes to loving people even on travel day!
