Miracles in the States?

Hello, so I’ve been traveling the states since January. Besides the one week I spent in Ecuador. And I’ve been able to see so many church’s doing amazing things. Many people ask for stories of miracles and things like that. I’ve been able to see hundreds of miracles and super natural things. After I share, most people follow up with “that’s awesome, too bad we don’t see those things in the states.” But that’s just not true. Hebrews 13:8 “God is the same today, yesterday and forever.” God doesn’t change just because we come back to the states. No, He is the same, I think we change. We get scared and lose that courage we had overseas. Well I’m not gonna live like that. So here are some sweet miracles I got to see on this trip so far.

  1. A friend of mine has been losing his peripheral vision over the last few years. We prayed for him and the next day he sent me a text saying ” As I went to leave this morning after breakfast, I sat in the truck and looked straight ahead just before taken off. I noticed out of the corner of my (left) eye that I could see my side mirror. Something that I have not for quite awhile. God is good. I love you man and I look forward to our next get together.”
  2. I was at a coffee shop in College Station. I went to the restroom and noticed a girl had a knee brace on. I asked her what had happened and if I could pray for it. She tore her ACL and needed surgery. She said I could pray so I did. After I prayed I went to the restroom. On my way back I asked her how her knee felt. She said it felt better. But I wanted her to really try it out. So I asked her to move her knee around where she would normally feel pain. She looked a little concerned but did it anyway. After moving it around she realized there was no more pain and was healed!
  3. As I was walking into a Denny’s for breakfast I saw a women in the parking lot who was walking with an ankle boot. I asked her what happened and she told me she tore her achilles and was in recovery over surgery. I asked her if I could pray. She looked a little confused but she let me pray. I prayed and asked her how her foot felt. She said it hurt the same amount. I was able to pray again and God took her pain! She was at first startled then happy.

This was just a few that come to mind but the list continues to grow because God doesn’t change. Be encouraged that wherever you are, whoever your with, God can move. I guess the question is are we willing to step out in faith? Are we willing to be bold? Are we willing to be “that guy/girl?” I know I’m going to do my best to be whatever I need to be in order for people to hear the Good news.
