It’s been 5 days since I left Singapore and it feels like my trip is just now starting. I remember thinking to myself ok I’m stuck in Singapore my squad and team are in Australia what now? Am I really suppose to be here? Did I hear God right? Because I thought I heard Him tell me to lead a team this year. So far I’ve been apart from my team all month and I felt like I was just on a solo mission. Then He reminded me that I’m called to lead those around me regardless of who they are. So God blessed me with an amazing community of believers during my time in Singapore. I was able to go out and live the Gospel. Which basically means go out and love people. So that’s what I did, everywhere I went. From the bus, train, sidewalk, bus stop, restaurant, food court, you name it people got to hear about Jesus and how much they are loved. And it was awesome!

When I was out eating lunch I talked with a lady who had pain in her knees. I asked if I could pray and she looked around and said “here right now in front of all these people? They might think your weird” I said yes. I don’t care what they think you are loved and God wants you to be healed now not later. She said “ok.” I prayed God healed. Then I sat down and spoke with her for a while. About her family and her life. It was such a blessing to find this woman who needed to hear how much she is loved.

One day I went to visit a brother in the hospital. He was from California and had been in a terrible motorcycle accident while overseas. He suffered a brain injury. It was so humbling that the church would ask me to go and pray for Him. When I went to see him he was conscious but not fully functioning. He seemed very restless kicking his legs non stop. I put my hands on him and started to pray. After a few seconds the man stopped kicking and started to fall asleep. It was so cool to see him receive rest during my prayer. His name is David please keep him in your prayers. He is still in the hospital but they plan on moving him back to the States soon.

God used me so much during my time in Singapore. Even though I felt like I was in the wrong place. He reminded me that as long as I’m walking with Him there is no wrong place. So my month 1 was so different from any month I’ve ever had. It felt like I was at a friend’s house sleeping on there couch and being blessed everywhere I went. It was such a hard goodbye. I really hope I can visit Singapore again. Because I know I have family there and I know God loves and moves mightily.
