January 12 2017 Atlanta Georgia. This was the day I left on an amazing trip around the world. I remember it so clearly sitting in the sessions, getting to know my team. I was nervous and excited to embark on a crazy thing they call the World Race. Fast forward 12 months and now I’m here for a second time. Most of nervousness is gone I still have excitement but this time I know what it can be. I know what God does when you step out of your comfort zone. When you decide to follow Him and leave everything else behind. These 4 months are going to be amazing I can’t wait too see how it unfolds.
So I met my new team here in Atlanta, we call ourselves G-POD (Gods People On Deployment)
Allow me to introduce the team that will do the impossible …..drum roll please…. First off we have our awesome treasurer and wise daughter of God Megan Wisehart! Wooo I can see the Lord bringing tons of freedom for my sister.
Next up we have our safety coordinator and brother in Jesus Connor Matisoo!!! This young man has a thirst for God that will inspire others myself included I can’t wait!
Coming in from Portland Oregon she is our logistic leader give it up for Arielle Stuart! God has blessed her with a unique opportunity to rely on Him to get out entire squad from place to place.
Standing in at 6’2 our center for humor and love it’s Tyler Ray Hamblin!!! He is gonna do big things for the Kingdom. He has so much joy and a very kind heart.
Last but certainly not least we have Taylor Mastin! I’m really excited to see her bring pain to the enemy, while brining love to all those around her.
My prayer for them is that these 11 months will be life changing. Letting God direct our everyday lives, not trying to schedule Him in. Bringing His love to all of the people we encounter on the way. It’s gonna be an awesome trip!
My prayer for myself is that God will continue to show me His great love. Not only for me but for all His people. I’m not sure where God will send me when I get home in 4 months but I do know He is good and that’s all I need.
